On departure from Singapore, Air France is offering 38 weekly code-share connecting flights with Qantas to five destinations in Australia: Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaïde.
In summer 2012, seven destinations will be served by the Air France A380:
New York-JFK, Washington DC, Los Angeles, Montreal, Johannesburg, Tokyo-Narita and Singapore.
Air France was the first European airline to operate flights with the superjumbo in 2009. Since December 2011, all Air France’s A380s have been equipped with 516 seats divided between four cabin classes: La Première, with 9 seats located on the main deck, the Business class cabin with 80 seats located on the upper deck in front of the Premium Voyageur cabin, which has 38 seats, and the Voyageur cabin with 449 seats divided between the two decks.
The A380 is the most environmentally-friendly aircraft and the quietest in its category. On board this superjumbo, Air France has innovated by introducing changing lighting moods depending on the stage of the flight and areas dedicated to relaxation, such as the contemporary art gallery area and the six bars divided between the two decks.
